Today Vivid VR Gaming LLC announced its flagship family entertainment center, Orion’s Landing. Coming to the shores of Lake Erie in Hamburg NY, Orion’s Landing will feature world class virtual reality experiences, retro arcade, E-sport competitions, performance stage, full bar and fast casual dining.
Vivid VR Gaming LLC is excited to bring the region, cutting edge virtual reality experiences from developers around the globe. The virtual reality arena will accommodate over a dozen players, and feature an untethered free roam space. Powered by powerful graphics, the VR experiences will offer a wide range of adventures, from virtual escape games, arcade shooters, player vs player competitions, and virtual tourism. These virtual realities are designed specifically for out of home entertainments and provide an unique interactive experience for gamers and non gamers alike.
Patrons will also enjoy the nostalgia of retro arcades. Games like Galaga, Centipede, Mortal Kombat, and NHL Open Ice will bring many back to their glory days of feeding quarters into their favorite machine. Pinball and rec room classics will also be apart of the offering. Vivid VR Gaming plans on cultivating the 35 plus years of gaming history into one space from original classics to next years technology.
Orion’s landing will also serve as an event space for birthday parties, corporate gatherings, E-sport competitions, and audio and video performances featuring a 20 foot projector screen and sound system.
Although the challenges of 2020 has changed some of the plans, Orions Landing is a new beginning of a multi year expansion bringing modern entertainment to the community. With their Depew location closed due to the pandemic, they have been hard at work. They are excited to announce that Orions Landing is in its final phase of construction, and will be open once it is appropriate to do so.
